To be consistent with our customers, there are several reason why you will not see pricing on all items on our website. In the world of online sales and instant gratification, there can be many different options available that affect price. As you shop around, you may start to notice the same or similar pricing listed for what appears to be the same exact items.

Manufacturer’s Online Polices: Most manufacturers dictate IF you are allowed to show pricing OR dictate what pricing is shown. Some furniture manufacturers build a lot of pride into their products and dictate that their product be sold in brick and mortar showrooms only by trained staff and pricing worked on between the retailer and the customer. This ensures a quality product from design to delivery. Those manufacturers that do allow pricing, enforce a “Minimum Advertised price” (MAP) to ensure competition between retailers is consistent and that the product speaks for itself – based on quality and good customer service which are cornerstones of our business.

Brick & Mortar Policies: Conversely to online pricing, manufacturers cannot dictate what price for the most part on products sold within the confines of Brick & Mortar Showrooms. Outdoor Furniture is uniquely personal to each person and it should be sat on, felt, moved, lifted and positioned by hand to ensure you are satisfied with your selection. Colors and fabrics are not as vibrant online as they are in the store and there are several hundred options to chose from. Our website catalog show SAMPLES of the newest, best selling or most popular products on the market – many of which are in stock. Showing our Brick & Mortar pricing on the website would deprive the customer of the experience of customizing their furniture as well as be misleading depending on the options available. California Patio showroom pricing is always at or below MAP (Minimum Advertised Price).

Alleviate Confusion: We would rather show you the price in person. As with Brick & Mortar pricing, many times online pricing does not reflect that actual price for the product due to the vast amount of options available. Some products are straight forward and can only be sold at one price. Other products such as umbrellas or furniture can be customized and depending on the options you choose, the price will differ. Fabrics for example come in many grades (Click to see our FAQ’s on Grades) and have a different price. For the most part prices shown on the internet for the same products we sell are usually a special order product with a set of standard options. We do carry some of those same stock options in our showrooms and warehouses but we prefer that you enjoy your experience of re-imagining your outdoor spaces with a no hassle sales process at the most competitive pricing around.
